Robert Hornak

Adjunct Professor of Film

Robert Hornak has nearly two decades of experience in the film and television industry in Los Angeles, working for recent shows like Bones and Lost in Space, as well as a number of film production companies. He has collected war stories from many Hollywood vantage points, including positions as script reader, writers’ assistant, director’s personal assistant, and script coordinator. He wrote episodes of CSI: Miami and has written and directed his own micro-budget features and shorts. Robert is an avid student of film, and has contributed essays to a number of television and movie related websites and appeared on several film podcasts. He lives in Riverside with his wife, Aubrey, and son, Charlie.
