Assistant Professor of Architecture
Jacob Slagill is a licensed architect in the state of California with much of his professional work dedicated to the design of protestant worship and ministry related spaces nationwide. His research interests are closely aligned with his professional work in that they are focused on the improvement of the contribution of architecture to Christian ministry and the primary functions of the church. His current research strives to employ formal, organizational, and aesthetic principles of architecture that can enhance how the church conveys its purpose to the public, how it partners in deepening the worship experience, and how it can better serve people.
