Troy Lamberth, M.F.A.

Adjunct Professor of Film

Troy Lamberth is the executive producer of the HAVEN Today radio program which airs on over 650 stations across North America. This year, Haven is celebrating 85 years of broadcasting which began in Hollywood in 1934. (No, he was not there at the beginning.) Troy also has over 25 years of experience working on various film and television productions. (Feel free to ask him about working on the Power Rangers and the time he gave Tom Hanks some Advil for his headache). Over the last few years, he has helped produce three feature length documentaries.

Troy is a fellow Lancer having graduated from “California Baptist College” in 1996. (Ask him about his adventures of filming in the “catacombs” under CBU way back then.) He also received his Master’s degree in Film & Television Production with an emphasis in producing at Chapman University in 1999. As far back as he can remember, Troy has loved reading and hearing stories as well as creating his own tales. And now as an adult, he enjoys discovering how the Great Story that’s all about Jesus impacts our lives —from faith to film to family. Troy is also a co-pastor at the Reformed Baptist Church of Riverside and has been married to his wife, Melissa, for over 14 years. They have three children who love to hear their daddy tell them stories as well.
