CAVAD Fine Art Faculty & Student Experiment in Catharsis

The Fine Art Program debuted its third installation of the semester on Wednesday, October 12th. Titled, What Did You Do Last Year?!, the exhibitions feature artwork created by CAVAD faculty and students. The artworks center on catharsis expressionism drawn from the influence of the COVID-19 Pandemic, current political climate, and national racial tensions. Program Director and Professor of Fine Art Duncan Simcoe, MFA, says that the artwork is therapeutic for the observer, just as it was therapeutic for the artist who created the work.

What Did You Do Last Year?! is open for community viewing at the CAVAD Rose Garden Chapel Gallery. Gallery Hours are Monday and Wednesday from 11 am to 7 pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 2 pm to 7 pm, and Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm.
