Program Statement:
The Architecture Spring Practice Symposium is an opportunity for faculty, practitioners, and professionals from allied fields to come together with students in the M.Arch. degree program around the topic of homelessness and housing. Experts from the community will engage in presentations and panel discussions toward the goal of edifying the members of our professional program in architecture. Our keynote speakers include beloved former faculty member Caleb Walder, AIA, who has practiced at Marlon Blackwells office most recently and is now a faculty member at Belmont University in Nashville. Our closing keynote is Sarah Satterlee, an architect and Director of Architecture and Site Development at Mobile Loaves and Fishes in Austin. Guests are welcome to register and may attend in person or via Zoom.
